    Symptoms

    Using either the "Records>Reorder Fields" option or setting "Reorder on save" and saving a record to the database, an error message pops up saying "Could not reorder fields".

    Defect Status

    VYG-6910 is resolved for Voyager 10.1.0 and higher.

    Replication Steps

    1. Create a field reordering profile in SysAdmin .
    2. Enter the URL into the Misc tab in SysAdmin as prescribed in the setup instructions for MARC Field Ordering.
    3. Log into Cataloging, search for a record, Record>Reorder Fields results in "Could not reorder fields".
    4. Make edits to the order of field sin the record; make sure that a profile and "Reorder on save" are checked in the Cataloging preferences; popup "Could not reorder fields" occurs after the save to DB.

    Workaround

    Not using https for your OPAC will allow for field reordering.
