    • Product Version: 7.2.1

    Description:
Bug Report Form for Issue 16384-15969

    Module(s): acqrprts.mdb
    Server platform(s) affected: Solaris/all
    Access version: 2010
Loss of functionality from (previous version, if applicable): Access 2003

    Expected results:
You should be able to edit the date format in the acqrprts.mdb

Open P_Order-P in the .mdb, and try to reformat the [P O Date] field on landscape-format printed purchase order, and you’ll get an error prompting you for a value for the parameter "Format".

This does not happen in Access 2003.

Workflow implications: Operators can’t reformat the date.

    Replication steps:
Go to C:\Voyager7\Reporter\Acqrprts.mdb on any workstation.
Open P_Order-P in the .mdb in design view.
Look at the [P O Date] field on landscape-format printed purchase order -- it's this format: =Format([P O Date],"dd mmm yyyy")
If you edit the format, even with valid syntax, you'll always get an error prompting you for a value for the parameter "Format".

    Other information:
If you go to Visual Basic>Tools>References>Libraries, you'll see that for the acqrprts.mdb in 2010, MS ActiveX Data Objects 2.x is not checked. Once checked, changing the date format is successful.

    Resolution:
