    BIB_INDEX.NORMAL_HEADING truncated to 61 characters for some indexes

    Symptoms

    • Some indexes, such as the 020R, 020Z, 035Z, index 61 characters instead of 150.
    • Happens for some custom indexes (490, 505)

    Defect Status

    Issue VYG-419 / 16384-15937 is resolved in Voyager 8.1.2 and higher.

    Replication Steps

    1. Created bib with 020 subfield z that contains 70 characters: 1234567891234567891234567891234567891234569871236547891234567891234569
    2. Save to DB
    3. View record in BIB_INDEX and not only first 61 characters indexed in NORMAL_HEADING and DISPLAY_HEADING
