Can WebVoyage display cover images from 856 links?

Question

MARC records from vendor have link to cover image in bib 856 field. Can the cover image be displayed in OPAC?

Answer

WebVoyage does not have code to display the contents of an 856 link within the interface; this would require intermediate or advanced customiziation to configure. (see: What WebVoyage customizations are supported?)

WebVoyage can display the links in the bibliographic record; enable the "Links" section (displayCode 3000) in displaycfg.xml in order to display 856 links.
