Does Generate Keyword Index in WebAdmin set catalog to read only?

If we check the box in WebAdmin for "Generate Keyword Index? Default is no keyword index generated" does this put the catalog in read-only mode like a keyword regen?
No. Starting with Voyager 9, keyword indexing during BulkImport is disabled by default. Checking the "Generate Keyword Index" option in WebAdmin (or using -KADDKEY at the command line) will enable keyword indexing (which was the default prior to Voyager 9).
