"End of term date not found" error when charging items

Problem Symptoms

• Loan period is set to term in SysAdmin>Circulation>Policy Definitions>Edit>Matrix tab>Modify
• Receive "End of term date not found" error when charging or renewing an item

Cause

Current or future End of Term date is not set

Resolution

1. Go to SysAdmin>Circulation>Policy Definitions>Edit>Calendar tab to see the active calendar.
2. Open the calendar in SysAdmin>Circulation>Calendar>Edit
3. In the Term Loans tab, add an End of Term date.
4. Or, if there is one already there, look at the lead days.
5. If today's date is between the lead days and the End of Term date, select New.
6. Set up the next End of Term date.
