    Question

We have a Voyager server hosted by Ex Libris and see in the upgrade documentation a requirement related to confirmation of a good full backup prior to the upgrade.  What do we need to do?

    Answer

Ex Libris Cloud Management does nightly backups as part of the service you are provided.  You do not have to worry about this requirement.

You should always have off-server copies of any locally-created scripts (for example, custom programs) that you run on your Voyager server, just to be safe.
