    Question

Is it possible to limit the number of holds a patron may place?

    Answer

Yes.  In the Policy Definition in the Patron Rules tab there is a "Max[imum] Hold Requests Apply" checkbox.  When it is checked you can enter the maximum number of hold requests that a patron can make.

    Additional Information

See the System Administration User's Guide, Chapter 5 (Patron Rules).

Remember for WebVoyage you will need to configure the OPAC Circ Desk Policy Definition.
