How to set Bulk Import Rule to load all incoming bibliographic & mfhd to default location

Question

How can Bulk Import Rule be set up to load bibliographic & mfhd records all going to one default location?

Answer

1. System Administration > Cataloging > Bulk Import Rules > {rule} > Edit > Rules tab: select the appropriate Bib Dup Profile, Owning Library and Expected Character Set
2. Profiles Tab: Choose appropriate import type and set Loc Field and Location Subfield to any field.
3. Mapping tab: set MARC Item Type and MARC Location to asterisk (*) and select desired Voyager Item Type and Voyager Location. Do not add any other mapping lines.
