    In Reserves click on Ellipses in certain workflow crashes Circ Module

    • Relevant for Installation Type: Multi-Tenant Direct, Dedicated-Direct, Local, TotalCare

    Symptoms

    • Click ellipses for item search in Reserve section of Circulation > Client crashes with message:

    Voyager Circulation Has Stopped Working

    A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

    Defect Status

    Issue VYG-7500 will not be fixed due to software limitations.

    Replication Steps

    1. Open Voyager Circulation 
    2. Click Reserves > open a reserve list
    3. Click Item button in the toolbar
    4. Click ellipses in Item barcode search window to open search box
    5. Search for item > Click Cancel > Close Item window without adding item to list
    6. Click the Item button to start another search 
    7. Click ellipses in Item barcode search window to open search box
    8. Receive message:
      • Voyager Circulation Has Stopped Working

        A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

    9. Click Close Program and Circulation closes.
