    • Product: Voyager

    Problem Symptoms

    • All mfhds created mapped to location in default mapping in import rule
    • Incoming records contain location codes matching other mapping lines

    Cause

Mapping lines other than default also specify item type, for which there is no corresponding match in incoming records.

    Resolution

Set MARC Item Type to wildcard if not creating items in import rule:

    1. System Administration > Cataloging Bulk Import > {rule} > Edit > Mapping
    2. Highlight Mapping line > Modify
    3. Set MARC Item Type to wildcard (*)
    4. Click OK.
    5. Repeat steps 4-5 for remaining entries in Mapping tab.
    6. Save rule.
