    Question

    In preparation for our migration from Voyager to Alma we would like to contact users who have saved records and saved searches in WebVoyage.  How can I find those data in Voyager's Prepackaged Access Reports?

    Answer

    There are two tables of interest to you:

    • SAVED_RECORDS_RESULTS which is where the BIB_ID of saved titles is stored (note the patron is identified by their patron_id)
    • SAVED_SEARCHES which also is identified by patron_id and has the search string stored in one of the columns.

    Additional Information

    The following SQL (provided by a customer) will show you how many patrons have saved records list:

    select count(distinct patron_id) as patrons
    from saved_records_results
    ;

    For more information about the tables and fields, see the Class Diagrams found here: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Voyager/Product_Documentation/Voyager_Data_Dictionaries_and_ER_Diagrams

    Constructing custom SQL queries by request and troubleshooting unexpected results from customer-created SQL queries falls outside the scope of Support. The above has been posted for informational purposes.  Voyager-L and Developer Network are useful resources for finding helpful custom SQL or obtaining assistance from peers in troubleshooting custom queries.
