    OPAC Advanced searches all produce "Could not retrieve search name"

    • Product Version: 7.2.3

    Problem Symptoms:
    *OPAC Advanced searches all produce "Could not retrieve search name" .
    *OPAC Course Reserve searches all produce "Could not retrieve instructor."

    Cause:
    Tomcat needs to be restarted.

    Resolution:
    Voyager 7.0.1 - 7.2.5:
    1. cd /m1/voyager/xxxdb/tomcat
    where xxxdb is the Voyager database name
    2. ./vwebv/tsvrctl stop
    Wait for response.
    3. ./vxws/tsvrctl restart
    4. <wait 10 or 15 seconds>
    5. ./vwebv/tsvrctl start

    Voyager 8.0.0 and higher:
    1. cd /m1/voyager/xxxdb/tomcat
    2. ./tsvrctl restart
