Operator can not create new publication patterns or search existing patterns in Voyager Acquisitions client

Operator does not see "New Publication Pattern" and "Search Publication Patterns" options when logged into the Voyager Acquisitions client.
Answer
This is likely a permissions issue. Go to System Administration > Security > Acquisition/Security Profiles for the impacted operator's security profile and check that the "Add/Update Serials Patterns" and "Delete Serial Patterns" boxes are selected appropriately.
