We need to export our Voyager patron data into another system.  What are our options?

Answer

Prepackaged Access Reports can be used to extract data from the patron tables via a query.  There are numerous tables associated with the patron data in Voyager.  See the Voyager Data Dictionaries and ER Diagrams for further information.

Patron Extract (the legacy Pptrnextr) can be run via the Command Line.  The format of the output is described in Chapter 19 of the Technical User's Guide.

The new Patron Export Service (PpatronExpX) can be used to export patron records to an XML file.  This can be run from WebAdmin and the Command LIne.  The format of the output is described in the Developer Network.
