    Pick and Scan "Update Item Status: Unable to delete. Item is currently blocked." for item that will be deleted

    Symptoms

    "Update Item Status: Unable to delete. Item is currently blocked." appears in log for Preview Mode when item will be deleted.

    Defect Status

    Issue VYG-6738 is currently in Development.

    Replication Steps

    1. Pick and Scan > Changes to Make > Delete Item, Empty Holdings, Empty Bibs
    2. Pick and Scan > Records To Change > All items on all holdings records*
    3. Pick and Scan > Records To Change > What to do > Preview
    4. Enter a record id linked to a Bib with multiple MFHDs or items attached.
    5. "Update Item Status: Unable to delete. Item is currently blocked." is written to the PAS log.
    6. The item is deleted with Update Database is selected.

     

    * Note that the defect also applies to the other two "Perform Changes Against" options ("This item only" and "All items on this holdings record".
