    Record set names with reserved characters not allowing Export

    Problem Symptoms:
    * Click Export from Record Sets area and nothing happens
    * Click Export from Record Sets area and
    ** Export Record Set To Disk window opens but adds .dslr extension and won't allow Save; or
    ** Export Record Set To Disk window opens, adds correct .txt extension and on Save gives error, "{file name} The file name is not valid."

    Cause:
    Record Set name contains character(s) not allowed in Windows file names.

    Resolution:
    1. Global Data Change > Record Sets > highlight record set > Click Edit
    2. Edit Name to remove reserved character(s).

    * Information on illegal characters in Windows file names: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/177506
    * Impacted characters:
    slash, backslash, quotation mark, colon, left angle bracket, right angle bracket, pipe, question mark, asterisk
    / " : < > | ? *
    * Other symbols/characters allowed in Windows file names can be used in Record Set name.

      • Record sets can't be exported when record set name contains slash or pipe character
