    Set Default Sort Order for Keyword Searches in Voyager

    Desired Outcome Goal:
    Change the order of Keyword search results display in Voyager / WebVoyage.

    1. Identify the index of the search for which the sort order will be changed.
    a) In WebVoyage, the index can quickly be identified by running a search of the type to be changed and locating the letters appearing after "&searchCode=" in the URL. This information can also be found in

    2. In System Administration > Search > Indexes - Keyword Definitions select the index and select "Edit."

    3. In the "Sort Order" tab select the primary, secondary, and tertiary sort orders.

    Additional Information

    Voyager will only use the secondary or tertiary order when there is more than one result with the same value for the primary sort order.
