Problem Symptoms
- Base URL for deep links into WebVoyage
http://library.webvoyage.edu/vwebv/search?searchCode1=GKEY&searchType=1&argType1=any&searchArg1= - Retrieves results for 035 that begin with the number (truncated keyword) rather than exact record
Cause
Search Code should be modified to include caret symbol (^) which combines the number and its prefix with AND.
Resolution
Edit base URL in external interface to include URL-encoded special character for AND in the search code:
- Edit base URL
- Set searchCode1=GKEY%5E
- Save changes
