Problem Symptoms

Unable to collect or forgive fines in Circulation because "Post" button is inactive

Cause

Location in Circulation policy definitions configured to not allow collection of fines

Resolution

1. Go to SysAdmin > Circulation [choose policy definition, click Edit] > Locations tab
2. Highlight the circulation location
3. Click "Settings" button
4. In Location Settings window, check the "Collect Fines" checkbox
5. Save and exit
