    Problem Symptoms

    • Bulk Import rule set to "Update Previously Loaded MFHDs and/or Items"
    • Holdings records not updated.
    • Bibs and items updated.

    Cause

    This problem may occur when a special call number hierarchy has not been set up.

    Resolution

    In System Administration -> Cataloging -> Call Number Hierarchy, create a new Call Number Hierarchy

    • In Hierarchy tab, assign name and code.
    • In Call Number tab, add settings for call number data in file being imported.
