    Question

When attempting to run a PrePackaged Reports query or relink the tables in a Reports.mdb file, you receive this error:

    corruptMDB.JPG

    Answer

The "It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt" error usually means your Reports.mdb file has become corrupted.

    • First try doing a compact and repair on the Reports.mdb file by opening the file and going to File > Compact & Repair.
    • If that doesn't work, you will need to get a new Reports.mdb file.

Make sure the Reports.MDB file that you are using is for the correct version of Voyager you are running.

    Additional Information

Just like any other file, you can copy, back up, rename, etc., the Reports.mdb file.  Support encourages customers to frequently back up (make copies of) their Reports.mdb file to avoid situations where the file is corrupt and work is lost.
