WebV: Skin Files contain incorrect version info
- Article Type: General
- Product: Voyager
- Product Version: 8.2.0
Description:
Bug Report for Issue 16384-10177
Module(s): WebVoy?ge
Server platform(s) affected: All
PC OS (if applicable): All
Browser & version (if applicable): All
Release(s) replicated in: 7.2.1
Last version without bug (if applicable): N/A
Expected results:
WebVoy?ge configuration files that contain a version number will show the last version in which that file was modified
Actual results:
With the 7.2.1 release, several WebVoy?ge configuration files were modified, but their version numbers still read “7.2.0” or earlier
Workflow implications: Customers will think that their skin files are out of date, when in fact they are current.
Replication steps:
1. SSH onto the Voyager Web Server
2. Change directories to /m1/voyager/xxxdb/tomcat/vwebv/context/vwebv/ui/exl_default
3. Check the version of any file (e.g. css/changePin.css) by typing “cat css/changePin.css | grep Version”
4. The result of step three will say 7.2.0, when it should say 7.2.1
Resolution:
New line was added to the top of each of the skin files in 8.2.0 to indicate the revision number and date.
