    Question

What should be included in the Global Data Change (GDC) "Delete All" rule results file?

    Answer

The file content contains one line per record that is deleted by the "Delete All" rule.  Rule results are formatted in the following manner:

    • Record ID
    • Record type, bibliographic (B) or holdings (H)

    Example:

    5500, B

In this example we are deleting one bib record (and its record hierarchy).

    Additional Information

For more information see Chapter 3 of the Global Change User's Guide.
