    When are search counts updated in the SEARCHPARM table?

    Answer

    The search counts are updated once the session is ended.

    Additional Information

    You can test this yourself. For example, look at the CATCOUNT for a search. Log into Cataloging, do that search. Close the Cataloging client. Then look at the count again. It should be higher.
