When using Mutliple MFHD Bulk Import Rules the value for subfield "t" is not being mapped from the MARC import to the Voyager holdings record

    • Product: Voyager
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Multi-Tenant Direct, Dedicated-Direct, Local, TotalCare

    Symptoms

The value for subfield "t" is not being mapped to the holdings record when using Multiple MFHD Import Rules.

    Defect Status

VYG-7696 is resolved in Voyager version 10.3

    Replication Steps

    1. Create an import record file that has the subfield "t" in the mapped MFHD field.
      Example:
       =852 \\$bmain$hNB354.N6$iA3$t1$zCopy 1$x39002139729827
    2. Create a bulk import rule using Multiple MFHD profile (i.e., Import Bibs, MFHDs, Multiple Items)
    3. Ensure Multiple MFHD has the Item Tag field t configured in the 'Copy number {t}'
    4. Run Bulk Import
    5. Resulting MFHD will not include "t" subfield

    Workaround

    Manually update MFHD.
