    Question

Why are some items in Voyager stuck with a status of 'In Transit Discharged' and how are these items changed to a status of Discharged or Not Charged?

    Answer

The 'In Transit Discharged' status is applied to items when they are discharged at a Circulation Happening Location that does not belong to the Circulation Policy Definition that contains the location of the item.  When you log into a Circulation Happening Location that does belong to the Circulation Policy Definition that contains the location of the item and discharge the item there, the status will change to Discharged or Not Charged (based on the shelving interval configured for that happening location).

    Additional Information

For more information on status after discharge see Why does it take several days for item status to change after discharge.
