Why is a specific component not editable in Voyager?
Answer
The holding location associated with the title is not selected in the operator's Acquisitions Security Profile.
Additional Information
To confirm and resolve:
1) In Acquisitions, open the component's related Purchase Order
2) Click on Detailed Line Item View
3) Click on the Copies/Funds tab and scroll over to view Holdings location
4) In SysAdmin, go to Security>Operator Profiles and look up the operator experiencing the problem
5) Click on the Current Profiles tab and note which Acquisitions Security Profile the operator belongs to
6) Go to Security>Acquisitions/Serials Profiles and open the profile from step 5
7) Click on the Locations tab to verify that the location from step 3 is on the Available Locations side on the left
8) Select the location in question and use the > to move the Available Location to Selected Locations
9) Save the profile
10) Log out of Acquisitions then log back in again
