    Symptoms

    When clicking on the author's name in a record when the name includes the æ character is included causes the redirect to fail.

    Defect Status

    Issue VYG-6409 is resolved for Voyager 9.2 and higher.

    Replication Steps

    1. Search for a record with an author name containing "æ"
    2. Open that record.
    3. Click on the author name to redirect to the list of materials.
    4. Be returned to the Author search page with a placeholder character replacing the æ.

    Workaround

    Replace æ with characters "ae"
