    Problem Symptoms

Using API to retrieve bib and item information results in <itemData name="itemStatus"/> with no item status information.

    Cause

    Missing lines in vxws.properties

    Resolution

    1. On server, navigate to /m1/voyager/xxxdb/tomcat/vxws/context/vxws/ui/exl_default
    2. Open vxws.properties and copy lines that begin with "holdings.item.request.status." and "holdings.item.status."
    3. Move to the parallel eng directory and open its vxws.properties file.
    4. Add the missing lines you copied from exl_default/vxws.properties.

Please note that Voyager Support has a very limited ability to assist with the Voyager APIs.  We can help identify the APIs that might be useful to you, and provide basic troubleshooting aid.  Voyager-L and Developer Network  are useful resources for obtaining additional assistance.
