360 Link has partnered with Google Books to provide an additional avenue for your library's patrons to obtain information about e-book content. This integration point extends the reach of your OpenURL resolver beyond content held within the walls of your library.

Google Books provides detailed information about books in print, including previews, tables of contents, and -- in some cases -- full copies of the books (where permission has been given or the book is in the public domain). This partnership, like the integration with Google Scholar, opens new paths to provide patrons with the research and information that they need.

Your library's patrons will see a Google Books "About this book" link on their 360 Link results pages whenever there is Google Books information available for that title:

Support for Google Books is included in your library's subscription to 360 Link; however, by default, it is not activated. If you want to activate Google Books:

• Libraries using 360 Link with Index-Enhanced Direct Linking (IEDL): See Google Books settings in the Non-Sidebar Pages Branding Options page in the administration console.
