What vendor records are available through the 360 MARC Updates service?
The 360 MARC service uses many sources for MARC records. In addition to records from the Library of Congress, National Library of Medicine and Serials Solutions original records we also make vendor records set available. The following vendor records are available through the 360 MARC Updates service. If you subscribe to any of these resources and wish to have MARC records delivered for them, please be sure they are added into your Client Center profile and have the "Display in 360 MARC Updates" check box selected. You will receive records for your holding in your next update.

Vendor: ACLS Humanities

As of July 2012, book records from ACLS Humanities are loaded in the Knowledgebase. These records are being used to normalize the database ACLS Humanities E-Book. Normalization for this database will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Because of system limitations, some titles without ISBN may need to remain unnormalized at this time.

At this time, we can provide only limited normalization for the Adam Matthew titles without ISBNs. For now, we can normalize only titles that are both unique and have no editions.

As of July 2019, normalization is being tested for Alexander Street Press video titles. As delivery of MARC records for video content is still under development, Alexander Street Press video MARC records are not included at this time.

As of September 2013, records from American Mathematical Society have been loaded into the MARC database. Normalization began with Memoirs of the American Mathematical Society, and will continue with other databases in the coming months.

The initial focus will be on adding these records to holdings for which we currently offer only brief records. As delivery of MARC records for video content is still under development, Bloomsbury video MARC records are not included at this time.

As of December 2013, records from Brill have been loaded into the MARC database. Normalization will focus at first on unnormalized titles, though at this time we may not be able to normalize Brill titles without ISBN.

As of September 2012, Cambridge University Press records have been loaded into the MARC database. We will be focusing on using these records first for unnormalized titles. The number of Cambridge University Press records available through the MARC service will be small at first but will continue to grow.

Normalization for CRC Press is at or near 100 percent for all collections. In addition to the CRC Press vendor records, there are many Library of Congress and National Library of Medicine print records available for this collection. CRC Press records are updated monthly.

As of November 2012, Credo records have been loaded into the MARC database. We will be focusing on using these records for unnormalized titles and will add them as we can to existing authority titles.

As of September 2013, DeGruyter records have been loaded into the MARC database. We will be focusing on using these records for unnormalized titles and will add them as we can to existing authority titles.
Collection: Early English Books online (EEBO)

These records are brief versions of the records provided by ProQuest. If you have paid for the fuller ProQuest version, we advise that you do not opt to receive this version of the EEBO records. The biggest difference between the EEBO brief records and our existing brief records is that the EEBO brief records provide more authoritative contributor-name representation.
As of March 2012, normalization of Early English Books Tract Supplement and Early English Books I (Pollard and Redgrave, STC I), 1475-1640 have been normalized to the fullest extent possible at this time. Early English Books Thomason Tracts and Early English Books II (Wing, STC II), 1641-1700 will be normalized next. Because of overlap, a few titles in these collections are currently normalized.

As of August 2012, Ebrary records have been loaded into the MARC database. We will be focusing on using these records first for unnormalized titles. The number of Ebrary records available through the MARC service will be small at first but will continue to grow.

Gale records are one of our oldest vendor record types. The Gale records may be used to normalize holdings in many collections in our system.

Vendor: Harvard University Press

As of March 2015, book records for only the Loeb Classical Library collection by Harvard University Press are being loaded into the Knowledgebase.
System limitations prevent us from taking full advantage of multi-volume level records. At this time, we can only provide limited normalization for titles that do not belong to a multi-volume set. However, if you subscribe to an unnormalized title that matches a MARC record in our knowledgebase, you may receive a multi-volume level record.

At this time we can provide only limited normalization for Henry Stewart titles without ISBNs. For now, we can only normalize titles that are both unique and have no editions.

Records from Irish Newspaper Archives were used to normalize previously unnormalized titles in the database Irish Newspaper Archives. Slight modifications were made to some records. Specifically splitting out records using latest entry cataloging convention into successive entry convention.

Morgan & Claypool records are updated quarterly.
Vendor: NBER

Records from NBER (National Bureau of Economic Research) were loading into the MARC database in September 2013. Many titles from this provider do not have ISBN, so not everything can be normalized at this time. Normalization for NBER Technical Working Paper Archive is complete. Other databases will be normalized in the coming months.

As of March 2012, serials records from OECD are newly available through the 360 MARC Updates service. This database is under review for normalization.
Due to the quality of the records, no further updates of OECD records have occurred after the initial load. We have sought alternative sources to provide MARC records for these titles.

As of December 2014, e-books records from Oxford University Press have been loaded into the MARC database. The initial focus will be on adding these records to holdings for which we currently offer only brief records.

SPIE records were previously distributed as Serials Solutions records and some are still available as Serials Solutions records. As of March 2012, new SPIE records will be made available as SPIE records only rather than as Serials Solutions records. This will allow for separate prioritization of SPIE and Serials Solutions records. SPIE records are updated monthly.

As of April 2013, Springer records are being loaded into the MARC database. We will be focusing on using these records for unnormalized titles and will add them as we can to existing authority titles.
