ADAM objects (=pdf files) will not be indexed in Primo

    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Problem:
ADAM objects (=pdf files) will not be indexed in Primo

    Cause:
The link for the object that is sent by Aleph is not a direct link but contains additional information. Therefore it can't be opened by Primo and tha object can't be indexed.

    Solution:
Modify the link on Aleph side so that Primo is able to index the PDF file. The following should be adjusted:

    xxx01/tab/tab_expand [Add a line]
    FULLP expand_doc_bib_z403 TAG=8567,CONF=expand_doc_bib_z403_ft4primo,USAGE-TYPE=VIEW

    xxx01/tab/expand_doc_bib_z403_ft4primo [New table]
