    Description:
CCL word search by collection code (index WCL) retrieves wrong results if the collection code also occurs as a word in the BIB record, and that word is indexed in the WAU index. The attached document has all you need in terms of problem description and examples -- both in the customer's server and in the v18 Ex Libris server. Note that I was *not* able to reproduce the problem on teh Ex Libris server.

    Resolution:
Here’s the cause of the problem with WCL= searches - it stems from tab00.eng:

    H WAU W-003 00 02 W-auteurs
    H WCL W-003 00 02 W-Collection

WAU and WCL have been defined as the same Word index (W-003).

To fix the problem, assign a unique W-number to the WCL index in column 3 of tab00.eng. Keep in mind that you must start counting from W-001, and that you should not jump large ranges of numbers. Then recreate the Words index by running Cataloging | Services | Build Indexes to the Catalog | Update Word Index (manage-01).
