Clearing circulation log for specific group of items

Description:
We would like to clear the loan history and circulation log for a specific group of items (all the items for ABC01 SYS #126436), but the only option I see is Circulation Logger Clean-up (cir-78) - and that runs on the entire z309 table (no input file of ABC50 barcodes or rec keys is possible).
Are there any other options for cleaning-up the circulation logs for this particular set of item records?
Resolution:
The p_cir_32 (Remove Patron IDs) service can also operate on the z309 (circ logger) and z36h (loan history) tables. Unlike p_cir_78 it has sublibrary and item status filters, which may or may not be helpful in this case. As described in KB 16384-18434, its updates include scrubbing of logger records for items currently on loan -- which is undesirable.
Aside from the p_cir_78 and p_cir_32, the other choice would be SQL....
[From site, later:]
We were able to clear the Circulation Log by deleting the z309 records with SQL - but the number of loans for each items still appears in the GUI Item List and Circulation Summary. My only guess is that there must be another piece somewhere that we have missed, because we've also deleted the z36/h records for these items.
[Answer:]
The value of the "Loans" column which appears in the GUI Cataloging Items List comes from the z30_no_loans field.
If you want this counter to be zero for all the 000126436 items, the only way would be SQL.
