    Communication error after barcode search

    Problem Symptoms:
    Client search on specific barcode from the items tab results in communication error global -7 in the GUI

    Cause:
    Defect

    Resolution:
    Solved with rep_change 2340 in Aleph 21 (June 2013 SP for Aleph 21).

    Description: In the X-SERVICE update-item, not all the fields in item history record were properly initialized. This sometimes caused the item history to fail to display in the CIRC module.
    Solution: This has been corrected.

    Customers who have used X-SERVICE update-item before installing rep_change 2340 should contact Ex Libris support in order to updated relevant item history records.
