Configuring Aleph 21 for ARC 3.0, z900 triggers

    • Article Type: Q&A
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Question

We seem to already have the Z900 Oracle table set up with the Aleph installation.
But the triggers are not defined in the file_list definitions as they should be according to Appendix C of the Aleph Configuration for ARC3 document. Is this correct?
How can we check if the trigger list is complete?

    Answer

The triggers are already defined in the default file_list for ADM libraries and can be seen in the merged file list.

You can check the merged file list definitions by using
    util a/17/10/2

    e.g.
    A.17.10. Edit file_list of XXX50 Tables

    0. Exit Procedure
    1. Edit file_list of XXX50
    2. View merged file_list

    TRI z601_trigger_1
    TRI z31_trigger_1
    TRI z77_trigger_1
    TRI z30_trigger_1
    TRI z30h_trigger_1
    TRI z36_trigger_1
    TRI z36h_trigger_1
    TRI z37_trigger_1
    TRI z20_trigger_1
    TRI z68_trigger_1

    TRI z309_trigger_1
    TRI z78_trigger_1
    TRI z305_trigger_1
    TRI z13_trigger_1

The trigger status can be checked in util a/17/6/4 Show Trigger Status

    A.17.6. Manage Triggers in XXX50

    1. Create/Recreate Library Triggers
    2. Enable Trigger
    3. Disable Trigger
    4. Show Trigger Status
    Please select [exit]: 4
