    Question

What is the best way to load corrected records back into the database?
The records were exported (only the tags involved) and corrected outside Aleph. A file in Aleph Sequential format ready to upload to correct the records is available.
What would be the fastest way to process the file? There’s no need to re-index the records.

    Answer

Run “Load ALEPH Sequential MARC Records (manage-18)” with option "Indexing=None". The service runs very fast and if e.g. started on a weekend there should be no problem.

    Additional Information

To be on the save side you could also split the input file into 4 files with 100.000 records each (or even smaller).
