Description:
There's a particular batch job running and you need to know who submitted it.
Resolution:
1. You need to determine if the job was submitted from the GUI Services, from the job_list, or from the unix command line. If the job was submitted from the GUI Services or the job_list, the name of the $alephe_scratch job log will be like this:
abc01_p_manage_nn.nnnnn
where "nnnnn" is a sequential number assigned by the system.
2. Finding the user name:
a. Check the setenv's near the beginning of the job log to see if the job has a p_user_name or user name parameter.
b. If the job has been submitted from the GUI Services, check the pc_server log for the user name found in step a. Four lines above the USER-NAME in the log, you will find a "LOGIN". This LOGIN may be more revealing as to the user's identity than the USER-NAME.
c1. On the server, dlib to your $pw_library and do util f/4 for the z66. Enter the User-name as the z66_rec_key. The user's name may appear in the resulting display as the z66_name. Alternatively ...
c2. Click on the skeleton key at the bottom right in the GUI, select Staff Privileges, the Modify User for the user found in steps 1, 2a, or 2b. The resulting display will have information about the user (from the same z66 noted in the previous step c1).
Note for Ex Libris staff: you may want to check the site's Contacts in Pivotal to see if any correspond to the user-name, LOGIN, or z66_name.
