    Due dates for recalled items incorrect or display incorrectly; due_date_format 4

    Problem Symptoms:
    Due dates for recalled items are incorrect or are displaying incorrectly.

    Specifically, due_date_format 4 doesn't seem to work properly: when the recall_due_date is later than the regular due_date, it displays the recall_due_date.

    Cause:
    due_date_format 1 not set

    Resolution:
    See the attached document on "Due Date Changes" ( due-date_changes.doc.) Note: Though this change occurred originally in version 14.2, the settings which it describes are still relevant in Aleph 18 and up.

    In regard to due_date_format 4, sites have found that switching to due_date_format 1 corrects the problem.
