    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Problem Symptoms:
After migrating from Aleph 18 to Aleph 21 the end block date is not updated anymore
    The configuration has not changed

    Cause:
    Configuration, structure of table ./xxx50/tab/tab18.lng

    Resolution:
Adapt table ./xxx50/tab/tab18.lng to the structure of Aleph 21

    1. Run the post upgrade step 'Util H/2 Synchronize tables headers'
    2. Adapt table ./xxx50/tab/tab18.lng by adding contents to new col. 3 (item status).
Note: Col. 6 must have 'Y' for cash transaction 0003 late return.

    !1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
    !!!!-!!!!!-!!-!!-!-!!!!!!!!!!-!!!!!!!!!!-!-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    0003 ##### ## ## Y Late return

    Additional Information

To calculate the z305-end-bloc-date the system is checking col. 6 (=Y) of table ./xxx50/tab/tab18.eng.
If the system does not find the 'Y' at the correct position, the block date is not calculated.

Example of correct Aleph 21 structure:
    !1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
    !!!!-!!!!!-!!-!!-!-!!!!!!!!!!-!!!!!!!!!!-!-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
