Expected arrival date remains after arrival

Description:
Is there a way to have the expected arrival date of a serial item clear automatically when the item is arrived?

We have been manually clearing this date after arrival.

Resolution:
When an issue is checked in, the system does not automatically zero out the expected arrival date -- and there is no option in the system to do this.

This would be an enhancement request.
