Failure to calculate TE -D001after time change

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
We ran p_cash_02 daily at 30 minutes past midnight. job_list has the following line:

    W0 00:30:00 Y ABC50 p_cash_02 ABC50,ID,MAIN_DOB_%DATE,MAIN,%DATE-D001,%DATE-D001,,01,

Aleph failed to calculate the proper date for %DATE-D001. $alephe_scratch/jobd.log shows:

    Current time: Monday 15 March 2010 00:30:00

    Performing Jobs:
    ----------------
    ABC50 p_cash_02 ABC50,ID,MAIN_DOB_20100315,MAIN,20100313,20100313,,01,

The system was restarted after DST took place. Is this a known bug?

    Resolution:
It would seem that restarting Aleph should have accomplished the same thing but, anyway, please stop the job daemon (util e/15/2) and then restart it (util e/15/1).

    [From site:]

    That worked.
