    Description:
    We'd like to set a global block such that a specific patron status is blocked. We want the circulation operator prompted to make a determination about the patron. We are splitting patrons currently lumped into one status into several statuses.

    Resolution:
    There are three possibilities for setting these blocks:

    (1) Individually, in the GUI

    (2) via the PLIF; see the "USER-REC-DELINQ" in the "How to Use the Patron Loader Interface - PLIF (file-20)" document; you set one of the three specific delinquency fields;

    (3) via SQL.

    Hopefully between 1 and 2 you can do what you want. If you feel you need to do SQL and need help, let us know.
