    Description:
What functions in ALEPH actually use the Z13 short-doc records? (We want to know what won't be working if these are temporarily unavailable.)

    Resolution:
The z13 is used for the bib info in each of the following:

    1. Title bar in Items List in the Circulation Module
    2. Title bar in the Check-In Session
    3. Borrower's List of Loans
    4. Borrower's Cash Transactions (all screens)
    5. Borrower's Hold Requests
    6. Circulation Log
    7. Cataloging F3 / Authority Brief list

    8. The Title in the Browse display of a z11 Number index, such as, Aleph number

    9. Bib info in the Web basket

    10. Web "New records" filter

    11. Bib info in the Course Reserve Documents list

    12. Certain SQL statistics scripts (and user-written SQL scripts)

Note: The Web OPAC Brief list does *not* use the z13. (It takes the fields listed in the www_tab_short.eng from the bib records themselves.)

    Additional Information

    Z13, short doc
