    Description:
Can you explain how new material is picked up for SDI requests. I understand from the v.17 release notes, that an item with no item process statsu, and a new journal issue, will be selected. But this leaves lots of questions. e.g.:
    - What about bib records with no HOL or items? (most of our new material is electronic-only and just has a bib record with an 856.)
    - If an entirely new bib record is selected, what MARC tag is used for the date?
    - What if you have an existing bib record that you want to be picked up (e.g. you just added an 856 for an electronic version) - is there a way to flag it?

    Resolution:
If the new bib record doesn’t have any item, z324 record won’t be created and you won’t get any SDI message. When you add field 856 to an existing record, it won’t generate z324 either, so you won’t get SDI message.
