    Description:
Our Test and Prod are different instances on the same server. We just changed Prod Web to connect to port 80 rather than 8991. I can get to ALEPH files via telnet port 22 and Putty.

If I select the Production region, is it the same files that we see when accessing the http://199.117.46.128 OPAC?

    Resolution:
When you choose Production with putty, you are connecting to the abc1-18(1) instance (/exlibris/aleph/a18_1... and /exlibris/aleph/u18_1...)
When you choose Test, you are connecting to the abc1-18(2) instance (/exlibris/aleph/a18_2... and /exlibris/aleph/u18_2...)

When you connect to http://199.117.46.128 you are connecting to Prod.
When you connect to http://199.117.46.128:8992 you are connecting to Test.

If you have any doubt about this, do this:

    1. Do a search for "tropical" in http://199.117.46.128/F.

    2. Connect to the Prod abc1-18(1) instance with putty and do "cd $LOGDIR"
    Then: view www_server_4991.log
then: search in the log for tropical (" /tropical ").
It will position on the line where the "tropical" search was entered.
