    Desired Outcome Goal:
Is there a way to delete records in bulk? Items and according BIB records shall be deleted.

    Procedure:
Run Delete Bibliographic Records Including Related ADM/HOL Records (manage-33). The service requires an input file which includes system numbers of bibliographical records and must be located in $alephe_scratch directory.

for performing deletion of ADM and HOL records the check for linked ADM and HOL records in table xxx01/tab/check_doc should be commented out:
! BATCH-DELETE: Check programs attached to the BATCH-DELETE check type are
! performed when the Delete Bibliographic Records (p-manage-33) batch process
    ! is run.
    !BATCH-DELETE check_doc_delete_lkr
    !BATCH-DELETE check_doc_delete_item

    Additional Information

If you have only a list with item numbers you can run Retrieve Record Keys (manage-70) and switch the item numbers to bib system numbers by using parameter ITEM-TO-BIB.
