    Description:
Do you know how I can get hold-request-slip-10 to print when I click "Print" from the hold request list in the GUI? (See Attachments.)

I tried every possible option in print.ini of circ and alephcom. I have a letter hold-request-slip-10 but it is not printing.

    Resolution:
There is always the global translate control, FORM-PRINT-FORMAT, via hold-request-slip.trn.

FORM-PRINT-FORMAT – Determines which form number to use when printing (10 below), depending on the field specified (z30-sub-library, below) and its contents (sub-library = MED, below).

    form-print-format z30-sub-library MED 10

Also, as is indicated at http://www.exlibrisgroup.org/display/Aleph/Circulation+Forms, hold-request-slip should be controlled by HoldLetter01 or ReturnHold01 and can also be generated by cir-12, or the following actions:

    (1) automatic on Item Return
    (2) Services > Requests > Call Slips for Hold Requests

(just to make sure we're talking about the same action).

In SKB-8192-1352, we see that print.ini controls the hold slip via the 7th column of the same line that controls the letter:

    HoldLetter01 00 N P holdltr.prn [LETTER] [SLIP]
    or
    ReturnHold01 00 N P rethold.prn [LETTER] [SLIP]
If both lines exist, then ReturnHold controls printing/emailing behavior upon item return when it is on hold.

I haven't tried this recently, but this is the way it used to work.

If this is still true, then presumably, in order to control the slip via print.ini, you would have to also use a letter of format=10, since one line controls both.
