    Question

Is it possible to create a port sensitive file tab_attr_sub_library for the SIP2 server?

    Answer

    Yes.

With rep_change #2120 (Aleph SP 23.1.2, scheduled for August 07, 2017) it is possible to use tab_attr_sub_library file with port extension, e.g. ./xxx50/tab/tab_attr_sub_library.5332 etc.

    Additional Information

    Description of rep_change #002120

SIP2 enhancement - the SIP2 server is not able to read a "port sensitive" version of tab_attr_sub_library.

Solution: This has been implemented. Now it is possible for the SIP2 server to use a "port sensitive" version of tab_attr_sub_library.

If ./[adm_library]/tab/tab_attr_sub_library.server_port exists, it is used by the SIP2 server. If it does not exist, the SIP2 server uses the default ./[adm_library]/tab/tab_attr_sub_library table.
